14/30: Strengths

14/30: Describe five strengths you have.

Okay…First off I have to say another weakness of mine is talking about myself. I know that seems kind of contradicting since I talk about myself ALL the time on my blog, but I mean about myself. Like…paying myself compliments and finding the good in myself. I don’t do that so well. I guess one of my weaknesses should have been I don’t love myself enough or compliment the good in myself. Anyway…I’ll try to agree on five good things about myself.

1. I’m responsible and money savy. That is not to say that I don’t like to go out and shop or spend money. But I’m aware of what being smart financially with your money means. I’m pretty sure it drives Robby nuts, he tells me all the time if it weren’t for me we’d be buying a lot more stuff. It’s not that I don’t want more stuff, but I’d rather save for it then run out and charge it on the credit card. That just doesn’t seem smart.

2. I’m a good listener. I’ve always been good at sitting with others and just listening to them talk. I like to help others and if by listening I am helping then I would love to help. Sometimes I’m not the best to give advice, but I love to listen and sympathize with them.

3. I’m a good nurturer. I like to think I’m good at taking care of others, especially my son. It comes easy and naturally to just take care of him, love him, and make him happy. Likewise with my husband. I love taking care of him and making sure he’s taken care of. I think the term he used the other night was that I was a good homemaker. Sometimes I feel like its miniscule, but I try to be the best nurturer I can.

4. I’m aware of others. You know those people who are just oblivious to their surroundings including other people? Those people drive me nuts. I’m constantly aware of people around me and somehow just pick up on their feelings. I like to smile when someone looks down or help someone who may be in need of help. I hate when I see people watching someone struggle and they just turn and pretend they’re unaware. It may not change your life, but it may change theirs by caring.

5. Organizing is ma thing. I know I’ve said this before, but I think it’s a strength. I’m good at organizing stuff and I love to make things have a place. If you ever don’t wanna organize your stuff, just mail me gas for money or a plane ticket and I’ll be there! ;)

In other news...

This kid of mine is just too much. He makes up some of the hardest and best parts of my day. Here are some highlights JUST from today. What a kid! He's almost 18 months you know...I might cry...He's going into nursery Sunday and I might just cry leaving him in there. Bah.

Apparently...this balloon is a good place to pop-a-squat on.

He's reassuring me that this is totally fine.

Umm....Robby?

Oh this kid...
